Visual Hub ( http://www.techspansion.com/visualhub/ ) is not only fantastically simple, flexible and reliable conversion software for video, but also it seems a handy tool for audio - I just used it to convert some wma files I’d been sent and get them into Final Cut Pro. It was a two step process: first use Visual Hub to make them into mp4 files, and then open those in Quicktime and export the Audio to aif. Sweet.
Beautiful music which I discovered in a completely random way… I was googling for chords for a Marillion song I love, and found an article on Vienna’s site discussing the structure of the song and how much she loved it! After a quick listen to the 30s previews of some of her tracks on iTunes I bought some albums and am now enjoying getting to know them…
She’s got a sort of Tori Amos-ey, Sarah McLaughlan-ey thing - very beautiful vocals with some great epic feeling piano based songs… first impressions great - we’ll see if the albums hold my attention!
